California Sliced Vegetable Salad

Makes 6 servings

This star-studded salad will be the center of attention

Ingredients:

  1. 2 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted and sliced
  2. 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  3. 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  4. 1/3 cup olive oil
  5. 1 tablespoon Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
  6. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  7. 1 teaspoon basil leaves, crumbled
  8. 1 teaspoon salt
  9. 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  10. 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Directions:

On a shallow platter alternately arrange avocado, tomato and onion slices, one slice overlapping the next. In a small container, combine remaining ingredients except parsley. Mix well. Pour over vegetables. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
