Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients:

  1. 6 cups (48 ounces) chicken broth
  2. 1/2 cup carrots, sliced diagonally
  3. 1/2 cup onion, diced
  4. 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  5. 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  6. 1/8 teaspoon salt
  7. 1 cup uncooked whole wheat egg noodles
  8. 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed or shredded
Directions:

In large pot mix broth, carrots, onion, celery, pepper and salt. Bring to a boil and stir in noodles.

Cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring often until noodles are tender. Add chicken and heat through.
