Sirloin Stroganoff

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons beef stew seasoning mix
  2. 3/4 cup water
  3. 2 pounds beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
  4. 1 can (6 ounces) mushrooms, sliced and drained
  5. 8 ounces sour cream
  6. 1 package (12 ounces) wide egg noodles, prepare as directed
  7. garnish with fresh parsley
Directions:

In a small bowl, combine seasoning mix and water; set aside.

In a large skillet, saute beef in oil until no longer pink; drain. Add the mushrooms and seasoning. Bring to a boil; reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Stir in sour cream and heat through.

Serve over steaming hot noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
