Crushed Pineapple Sherbet

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups buttermilk
  2. 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
  3. 3/4 cup granulated sugar
Directions:

In a bowl, combine all ingredients; stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour into a 9-inch square pan. Cover and freeze for 1-1/2 hours or until mixture begins to harden.

Stir and return to freezer. Freeze 3 to 4 hours longer, stirring occasionally, until firm. Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving.
