Caesar Salad Beef Burgers

Ingredients:

  1. 1-1/2 lb. ground beef
  2. 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  3. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  4. 8 slices sourdough bread
  5. olive oil
  6. 4 Romaine lettuce leaves
  7. 1/4 cup coarsely shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions:

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic, salt and pepper. Shape meat into four 3/4 inch patties, shaping to fit the bread. Place patties on grill directly over heat source. Grill for 14-18 minutes for desired doneness, turning once.

Brush both sides of bread with oil. Grill for 1-2 minutes or until lightly toasted. Place a lettuce leaf and a burger on bread slices; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and top with remaining bread slices.
