Plum Sauced Chicken

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  2. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  3. 1 small onion, chopped
  4. 1/3 cup bottled plum sauce or preserves
  5. 1 tablespoon vinegar
  6. 1 tablespoon water
  7. 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  8. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  9. hot cooked fettuccine
Directions:

In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Cook chicken in butter for 8-10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center.

Remove chicken, reserving juices in skillet.

For sauce, add remaining butter and onion; cook until onion is tender. Stir in plum sauce, vinegar, water, seasoned salt and garlic powder. Cook and stir until heated through.

Serve chicken with sauce and hot fettuccine.
