Slow Cooker Spicy Shredded Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  1. 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  2. 1 jar (16 ounce) prepared salsa
  3. 6 hamburger buns or Kaiser rolls
  4. 1 bottle spicy barbecue sauce
  5. 1/2 cup mini red peppers, sliced into rounds
Directions:

Place chicken in slow cooker. Cover with salsa. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Shred chicken with two forks and return to the slow cooker. Add barbecue sauce and sliced peppers; stir to combine and serve on toasted buns.
