Peachy Dessert Sauce

Yield:
3/4 cup

Ingredients:

  1. 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  2. 1/4 cup water
  3. 2 tablespoons apricot preserves
  4. 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  6. 3/4 cup canned peaches
  7. Vanilla ice cream
Directions:

In a small saucepan, mix cornstarch and water. Add apricot jam, lemon juice and sugar; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes; reduce heat. Add peaches and heat through. Serve warm over ice cream
