Slow Cooker Granola Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

  1. 8 tart apples (Rome or Ida Red are good)
  2. 1/4 cup lemon juice
  3. 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  4. 2 1/2 cups granola cereal with fruit and nuts
  5. 1 cup granulated sugar
  6. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  7. 1/2 cup butter, melted
Directions:

Coat the inside of a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

Add apples, lemon juice and lemon peel; toss together.

Combine granola, sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Drizzle with butter. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours or until the apples are tender. Serve warm.
