Cranberry Beef Brisket

Yield:
10-12 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 4-5 lbs. beef brisket
  2. 2 tablespoons oil
  3. 1 can (16 oz.) whole cranberry sauce
  4. 1/2 cup beef broth
  5. 1/2 cup red wine
  6. 1 envelope onion soup mix
Directions:

In a large skillet, brown beef in oil on both sides. Transfer to a greased roasting pan. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; pour over beef. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 3-4 hours or until meat is tender. Strain cooking juices if desired to serve with meat.
