Cranberry Salsa

Yield:
2 1/2 cups

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup water
  2. 1 cup granulated sugar
  3. 1 package (12 ounce) fresh cranberries
  4. 2 Tablespoons chopped jalapenos
  5. 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
  6. 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  7. 1 green onion, sliced (including green stem)
  8. 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
Directions:

Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat. Add cranberries; return to boil.

Gently boil cranberries for 10 minutes without stirring. Pour into a medium glass mixing bowl. Gently stir in remaining ingredients.

Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on salsa. Cool at room temperature.
