Raisin Nut Pie

Ingredients:

  1. 3 eggs
  2. 3/4 cup Karo Dark Corn Syrup
  3. 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  4. 1/4 cup Mazola Margarine, melted
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  7. 1 cup raisins
  8. 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  9. 1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell
Directions:

In bowl beat eggs slightly. Stir in corn syrup, brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt. Stir in raisins and nuts. Turn into pastry shell. Bake in 350 F. oven 40 - 50 minutes or until knife inserted half-way between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. If desired, serve with unsweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
