Blue Cheese Log with Fresh Pears and Toast

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cups (6 ounce) blue cheese, room temperature
  2. 1 package (3 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  3. 1/4 cup sour cream
  4. 1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
  5. 1/2 cup ground toasted walnuts
  6. 2 pears, sliced
  7. Toasted baguette slices
Directions:

Stir together blue cheese, cream cheese and sour cream. Stir in chopped walnuts.

Cover and chill about 1 hour or till easy to handle. Divide mixture in half; shape each half into a 6 x 1 1/2- inch diameter log.

Wrap in plastic wrap and chill at least 4 hours or till firm.

Place ground walnuts on a sheet of waxed paper. Roll log in walnuts. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill up to 24 hours.

Serve with sliced pears and toasted baguette slices.
