Bacon Cheese Strips

Yield:
2 dozen strips

Ingredients:

  1. 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  2. 1 egg, beaten
  3. 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  4. 1/8 teaspoon ground mustard
  5. 5 drops hot pepper sauce
  6. 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  7. 4 ounces (1 cup) shredded cheddar cheese
  8. 8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  9. 8 slices bread, crusts removed and toasted
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, pepper sauce, black pepper and shredded cheese; mix well. Stir in bacon.

Spread over toast. Cut each slice of toast into three strips. Place on a baking sheet.

Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until cheese is melted.
