Peanut Mallow Bars

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup salted peanuts, chopped
  2. 3/4 cup flour
  3. 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
  4. 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  7. 1 egg, lightly beaten
  8. 1/3 cup cold butter
  9. 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow cream
  10. 2/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
  11. 1 3/4 cups salted peanuts
Directions:

In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients; stir in the egg. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Spoon marshmallow cream over hot crust; carefully spread evenly. Drizzle with the caramel topping; sprinkle with peanuts. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
