Slow Cooker Sweet and Savory Brisket

8-10 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 3 pounds fresh beef brisket, cut in half
  2. 1 cup ketchup
  3. 1/4 cup grape jelly
  4. 1 envelope onion soup mix
  5. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions:

Place half of the brisket in a slow cooker.

In a bowl, combine the ketchup, jelly, soup mix and pepper. Spread half the mixture over meat. Top with the remaining half of meat and remaining mixture. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is tender. Slice thinly and serve with cooking juices.
