Smoky Ham and Navy Bean Stew

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb. cooked ham, cubed
  2. 2 cups water
  3. 1 cup dried navy beans
  4. 1 cup sliced celery
  5. 1 small onion, chopped
  6. 2 medium carrots, sliced
  7. 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  8. 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
  9. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions:

In 3-4 quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients except parsley; mix well. Cover and cook on low setting for 10-12 hours. Stir in parsley before serving.
