Irish Minted Peas

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pkg. (10-ounce) frozen green peas
  2. 1 Tablespoon fresh mint, chopped fine
  3. 1 teaspoon sugar
  4. water
  5. 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Pepper to taste
Directions:

Add peas, mint, and sugar to saucepan and cover with water. Bring to boil and cook 5 to 7 minutes, until peas are tender; drain.

Stir in butter, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately.
