Batter Fried Shrimp

Light, crispy, perfect

Ingredients:

  1. 2 lbs. uncooked, large shrimp, butterflied
  2. 3/4 cup unsifted flour
  3. 3/4 cup water
  4. 1 egg, slightly beaten
  5. 1 tablespoon sugar
  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  7. Planters Peanut Oil
Directions:

Combine flour, water, egg, sugar and salt to make a batter. Dip shrimp into batter and fry in deep, hot (375 F.) Planters Peanut Oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
