Marshmallow Peppermint Frosting

Yield:
Will frost a 13x9-inch cake

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons water
  2. 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  3. 1 egg white, beaten stiff
  4. 3/4 cup marshmallow creme
  5. 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  6. Few drops red food coloring
  7. Few grains salt
Directions:

Boil water and sugar together until the soft ball stage is reached (234 F. ). Slowly pour hot syrup over beaten egg white, beating constantly. Add marshmallow creme, extract, food coloring and salt; beat until cool.
